2. Information processed
Depending on the features you use, Grapevine may process account identifiers and authentication information; content you submit, including text, voice recordings, transcriptions, and messages; interactions and moderation information; device and push-notification tokens; location information used for location-based features; and technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Do not share passwords, recovery keys, or sensitive personal information in gossip or messages.
3. How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, deliver and propagate content, support conversations, calculate in-app activity metrics, deliver notifications, enforce safety rules, investigate abuse, maintain security, and respond to support requests.
4. Location information
Some Grapevine functionality depends on location. Location data may be used to determine geographic eligibility, content distribution, and aggregate reach or area metrics. The exact location precision, collection timing, and retention period must be verified against the deployed app before this policy is published.
5. Voice and other user content
If you submit voice content, the app may process audio and associated transcription text to provide its features. Content may be reviewed or restricted for moderation and safety purposes. Other users may receive content as part of Grapevine's propagation and conversation features.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Grapevine uses technical service providers to operate its backend, database, notifications, and related infrastructure. The production list of providers, their processing roles, and any analytics, AI transcription, or media-storage providers must be verified and disclosed as applicable. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or to address security and safety issues.
7. Retention and deletion
Information is retained as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, address abuse, and maintain security. Specific retention periods, backup handling, and the effect of account deletion on previously propagated content must be confirmed against production behavior. We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children and age eligibility
Grapevine's in-app terms currently state a minimum age of 15. The applicable App Store age rating, age-verification practices, and any jurisdiction-specific protections should be confirmed before release.

You can use available device settings to manage location, microphone, and notification permissions. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Contact us to submit a request.
